Refundable Security Bond

The member will need to sign a hire agreement and provide valid credit card details prior to hire as set out below on each instance that equipment is hired.

All hire equipment will incur a $50.00 minimum Refundable Security Bond to cover the cost of any small breakages or loss and/or damage to equipment hired or additional hire fees. This Refundable Security Bond will be refunded to the member’s credit card detailed on the Hire Agreement within 48 hours of the return of the hire equipment to Grog on Wheels, less the cost of any breakages, loss, damage or additional hire fees.

In addition, a Customer Care Officer will contact the member prior to delivery to confirm hire and delivery details. At this time members are required to provide their credit card details for either the return of the Refundable Security Bond or use in the event of large breakages, excessive additional hire fees or loss of equipment as detailed in the Hire Agreement.

Cost and Term of Hire

The prices contained in the website are a per day hire basis as detailed below.

The standard hire time of all equipment is based on delivery on the nominated day with collection on the following day, ie delivery on a Sunday with collection on the Monday. This constitutes one (1) day’s hire only (see example 2 in the table below). However if you require the hire equipment for an extra day, ie delivery on Sunday, with collection on Tuesday, this would constitute two (2) days’ hire (see example 3 in the table below).

The standard hire time can be less, however the cost of the hire is not reduced (see example 1 in the table below).

The standard hire time can be longer, and the cost of the hire is increased on a daily rate based on the prices contained in the website (see examples 4, 5, 6 and 7 in the table below).

Delivery and Collection of Hire Equipment

Grog on Wheels will deliver hire equipment direct to the member and obtain an original signature on the hire agreement prior to the release of any hire equipment. If the member is not available and has not already provided a signed Hire Agreement, the driver will not be able to release the hire equipment and will return the hire equipment to Grog on Wheels. In the event of redelivery being required a redelivery fee may be charged.

The member does not need to be personally present at the time of collection of hire equipment, however, someone will need to be available to allow entry and collection of the hire equipment on the day and at any time within the timeframe nominated by the member at the time of placing the order.

If the driver cannot obtain access and/or collect all components of the hire equipment on the day and at any time within the timeframe nominated by the member at the time of placing the order, a further day of equipment hire will be charged to the member’s credit card as set out in the Hire Agreement. A Customer Service Officer will contact the member to arrange a new collection day and timeframe for any outstanding hire equipment. The member will continue to be charged for any outstanding hire equipment on a daily basis until all components of the hire equipment are collected by Grog on Wheels.

Hire Agreement

Members will be provided with a copy of the unsigned and Delivery Sheet at the time of delivery of the hire equipment for their records.
