Grog on Wheels is pleased to provide this web site for your personal use. However, by using this site, you agree to the terms and conditions provided below.
Liquor Licence
Licensees Susanne Catherine Gallpen and Sarah Ann Lygo Gallpen, trading as Grog on Wheels, have a Direct Sales Liquor Licence numbered 51401681. They are authorised to sell and supply liquor in accordance with the provisions of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997 and any other conditions under their licence.
In particular, section 39A of the Liquor Licensing Act states that:
| (1) | A direct sales licence authorises the licensee to sell liquor at any time through direct sales transactions (provided that, if the liquor is to be delivered to an address in this State, the liquor is despatched and delivered only between the hours of 8.00 am and 9.00 pm and not on Good Friday or Christmas Day). |
Membership
To order anything from Grog on Wheels customers must become a member. There are no fees or costs associated with membership, nor are there any voting or shareholder rights.
To become a member of Grog on Wheels customers must be over the age of 18 years. Proof of age will need to be provided before membership can be finalised.
All transactions require payment at the time of ordering and the member will need to be the holder of, or have authorised access to, a valid credit card to provide payment for goods and services at that time.
Recycling Service
Grog on Wheels is committed to preserving the environment and offers a free recycling service for all glass and plastic drink bottles and cans, including wine and beer bottles (whether purchased through this site or from other retailers) upon delivery of an order and/or upon collection of hire equipment. Whilst there is no charge for this service there is also no return value to the member for the bottle and can deposits that they could receive if they took the items to a recycling depot personally.
Legal age to use this site
Grog on Wheels advocates responsible sale, delivery and consumption of alcohol at all times.
Grog on Wheels is not legally allowed to sell or supply alcohol to any person under the age of 18 years or that it, or its agents or service providers, reasonably believe to be intoxicated.
Consequently, people under 18 years of age are not permitted to become a member and/or place orders. In particular they are not permitted by law to purchase alcohol or accept delivery of alcohol on behalf of a member.
Delivery conditions
If the person accepting delivery of an order is under 18 years, or could be under the age of 18 years and cannot provide acceptable proof of age and the order includes alcohol, the driver will not deliver the alcoholic portion of the order at that time.
If the delivery driver is of the reasonable opinion that the person accepting delivery of the order is intoxicated, and the order includes alcohol, the driver will not deliver the alcoholic portion of the order at that time.
Where delivery cannot take place due to one of the above reasons, a further delivery fee may be charged to have the alcoholic portion of the order delivered at a later date.
