Sale and delivery of alcohol
Grog on Wheels uses a responsible drinking code of ethics for the sale and delivery of alcoholic goods.
To prevent purchase and acceptance of alcohol by minors we have introduced a free membership which requires members to be over 18 years and a delivery protocol that requires recipients of alcohol to be over the age of 18 years and not intoxicated. No alcohol will be left at premises unattended. Whilst slightly more time consuming for both Grog on Wheels and our members, we feel that membership and our delivery protocol are clear ways of protecting our minors whilst promoting adult choice and responsible drinking within the South Australian community.
Responsible drinking and safety
In order to raise drinker awareness our range of wine glasses have been etched with a plimsoll line at 150mls indicating the standard drink line. Our beer glasses are certified to the standard measurements. We only sell certified spirit jiggers for the measurement of spirits and use toughened glasses for the majority of our glassware. We also hire a range of polycarbonate pool safe drink ware including carafes and kufra jugs.
At Grog on Wheels we employ an accredited electrical testing officer to ensure our full range of electrical hire equipment meets the Australian Standard AS 3760 2003 for electrical safety. We are a member of the Hire & Rental Industry Association Limited and abide by their code of practices.
Membership
To order anything from Grog on Wheels customers must become a member. There are no fees or costs associated with membership, nor are there any voting or shareholder rights.
To become a member of Grog on Wheels customers must be over the age of 18 years and read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions contained in the Membership Agreement.
All transactions require payment at the time of ordering and the member will need to be the holder of a valid credit card account to provide payment for goods at that time.
