The Monthly Prize
The specific details, components and value of the prize each month will be detailed under the heading Monthly Prize Draw on the Home page of the Grog on Wheels website and will be updated on the first day of each month unless otherwise stated.
How to enter the monthly prize draw
When you join Grog on Wheels as a member you are automatically entered once into the monthly prize draw for the prize drawn in the calendar month that you join. Members can only join once and be eligible to enter this way.
When you subscribe to Grog on Wheels you are automatically entered once into the monthly prize draw for the prize drawn in the calendar month that you subscribe. Subscribers can only subscribe once and be eligible to enter this way.
Every time you make an order online with Grog on Wheels you are automatically entered once for each accepted order into the monthly prize draw for the prize drawn in that calendar month. You are eligible to enter multiple times each month this way.
Who is eligible to enter the monthly prize draw?
You must be over 18 years to become a member of Grog on Wheels and make orders online.
Whilst you do not have to be over 18 years to subscribe to Grog on Wheels subscribers under the age of 18 years are not eligible to receive the monthly prize draw if the prize contains alcohol. However, in this event a subscriber under the age of 18 years may choose to only claim that portion of the prize that does not contain alcohol and nominate their parent or legal guardian to accept the alcoholic portion of the prize. Alternatively, the prize will be redrawn as soon as practicable.
The winner or their nominated recipient must consent to their name and suburb, together with a copy of their photograph being placed on the Grog on Wheels’ website. The winner or their nominated recipient will need to sign an authority to this effect at the time of accepting the prize.
Delivery of the prize is limited to the delivery area and the days and times as set out in the Delivery page. If the monthly prize winner does not live or work in the delivery area they can nominate a person over the age of 18 years who can accept the prize on their behalf and is in the delivery area and consents to their picture being placed on the Grog on Wheels website.
When is the monthly prize drawn?
Each monthly prize runs for one calendar month unless otherwise stated. On the first day of each month the monthly prize will be drawn from the members and subscribers who have been automatically entered during the previous calendar month.
The winner will be drawn electronically by a computer generated program using a secure database on the Grog on Wheels website of all members and subscribers who have been entered into that month’s draw. In the event that the electronic drawing system fails, a paper generated list will be printed and manually folded and placed into a container and a winning member or subscriber will be drawn by the Chief Executive Officer in the presence of the Vice Chief Executive Officer of Grog on Wheels.
Notification of winner
The winner will be notified by email at the address provided in their membership or subscription details. The winner will be requested to nominate a day and timeframe for the prize to be delivered at an address within the Delivery area of Grog on Wheels providing for delivery within 7 days. Delivery can be on any day of the year except Christmas Day and Good Friday as it is against the law to deliver alcohol on those days. Delivery timeframes are 8.00am to 12.00pm, 1.00pm to 5.00pm, 5.00pm to 9.00pm or a general business hours timeframe of 10.00am to 4.00pm.
If the winner is unable, unwilling or ineligible to accept the prize as provided above, the prize will be redrawn until such time as a winner who is able, willing and eligible to accept delivery of the prize within 7 days of notification is drawn.
The winner’s name and suburb will be displayed on the website, together with a picture of them or their nominated recipient accepting delivery of the prize once the photograph is available.
