Grog on Wheels Security Certificate
Grog on Wheels is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. In addition to the industry standard use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology on our checkout pages with Bendigo Bank, our website employs a separate 256-bit encryption SSL Certificate across all pages of the website displaying your personal information, including membership details, delivery details, order confirmation, order history or if you contact us. We use the highly respected, long established Certification Authority, GeoTrust for our SSL technology.
We have implemented strict physical, technological and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure any personal information we collect online, by facsimile, over the telephone and or in person.
When credit card information is obtained for equipment hire purposes it is recorded on the Hire Agreement signed by the member and once the equipment has been returned and the transaction finalised, the credit card information is separated from the hire agreement and destroyed.
At Grog on Wheels we choose not to store credit card information on our web servers, but direct you to our merchant gateway payment facility through our banking partner, Bendigo Bank.
Bendigo Bank Secure Site
Bendigo Bank protects your financial information with industry leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use your credit card with Bendigo Bank, your financial information is not shared with Grog on Wheels. Once your payment is complete, Bendigo Bank notifies us and you will be emailed a tax invoice for this transaction from our website immediately.
In addition, verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode have been employed to alleviate online security concerns. When a cardholder makes a payment on a web site (if the cardholder has registered for this service with their card provider) the cardholder is required to enter their special code (password) in a pop-up box from his or her card issuer. If the correct code is entered, the cardholder's identity is authenticated and the transaction can then be sent normally for authorisation. It is a small additional step in the payment process which verifies the identity of the cardholder. The process is similar to the authentication of a debit cardholder with a PIN at an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM).
Members can also utilise their American Express or Diners Club cards through the Bendigo Bank gateway and also benefit from the security features contained in this site.
